The Council for Osteoarthritis Pain Management was formed in January 2006 to bring together an expert panel of interdisciplinary thought leaders representing academia and the medical community to review the current state of the science in pain management associated with osteoarthritis and to identify evidence-based recommendations for the management of osteoarthritis pain.
